PURPOSE:To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having high dielectric constant, reduced in the change thereof with temperature and having small dielectric loss by constituting barium titanate, niobium pentaoxide and zinc oxide having specific ratio as main ingredients. CONSTITUTION:96-98.5mol% barium titanate, 0.75-2mol% niobium pentaoxide and 0.75-2mol% zinc oxide are used as main ingredients to provide the dielectric ceramic composition. The dielectric ceramic composition has high dielectric constant of about 2800-4400, high insulating resistance of >=5X10<11> and small ratio of change of electrostatic capacity. When laminated condenser is produced using the composition as a dielectric layer, use of palladium inexpensive as an internal electrode is further made possible, because bismuth readily reactive with palladium is not contained in the composition. Furthermore, characteristics of the composition can be moreover improved by further blending the ceramic composition with <=0.2wt.% manganese oxide. |
