<p>PURPOSE:To secure the back tension of a tape to a designed value by correcting a position detecting signal to be supplied from a position sensor and controlling the back tension of the tape based on a posture detecting signal to be supplied from a posture sensor. CONSTITUTION:For a tension device 15, an inclining direction and an inclining angle are detected by a posture sensor 24 when the posture of a recording and reproducing device is changed. The posture detecting signal, which is detected by the posture sensor 24, and the position detecting signal, which is detected by a position sensor 20 of a tension detecting arm 17, of the tension detecting arm 17 are supplied to a tension correcting circuit 28 and a corrected position detecting signal is supplied from the tension correcting circuit 28 to a tension control circuit 21. The tension control circuit 21 controls a motor amplifier 22 so as to be coincident with a supplied tension target value and controls the back hold torque of a reel motor 13 which rotationally drives a supply reel 4.</p> |
