<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the travel of a tape by providing an inclined tape guide so as to obtain the angle of depression to the lead of a drum on the drum entrance side and drum exit side of the tape to be wound around the drum. CONSTITUTION:An upper rotary drum 1 to load a magnetic head and a lower fixed drum 2 with the lead are provided and when a magnetic tape 3 is traveled along a traveling route based on geometric design, the state of a magnetic tape 3A is obtained. A tape guide 4 is set up so that the tape can be traveled to the position of a magnetic tape 3B along the traveling route curved in breadthwise direction, namely, that a prescribed angle of depression can be formed to the lead of the drum from a geometric design value either on the drum entrance side or exit side. Accordingly, regulating force in the breadthwise direction is generated to the tape 3B in the parts of the drums 1 and 2 and fluctuation in the breadthwise direction can be suppressed. Thus, assembly can be simplified, a time required for adjustment can be shortened and the tape can be stably traveled.</p> |
