PURPOSE:To prevent a door from twisting and to contrive the reduction in cost by locking a lock means to the means to be locked of a main body side when the door is closed and also operating a door switch by the locking means. CONSTITUTION:The frame member 5 of the means to be locked is molded integrally at the right end of the inner cover 4 of an image forming device and a locking claw 7 is projected on the right side of the reverse side of a cover 2. When the door 2 is closed, the tip claw part 7a of the locking claw 7 engages the locking stage part 5a of an opening part 8 and the door 2 is locked. At this time, the tip of the claw part 7a presses the operating element 10a of the door switch 10, which is turned on. The reaction force of the operating element of the door switch is transmitted conventionally to the door by the means 5 to be locked to cause the door to twist, but the twisting is eliminated and precluded, so the door need not be made thick, the structure is simplified, and the cost is reduced. |
