PURPOSE:To make it possible to paste an ornamental member with good positional accuracy by a method wherein a top force, onto which the ornamental member is held, is pressed down against the required surface of the skin material on the surface of a forming base material, which is set on a bottom force for press pasting, under the condition that the ornamental member is positioned by holding needles. CONSTITUTION:Under the condition that ornamental fabric is clamped by clamps 6, a top force 5 is faced to a bottom force 1 for trimming and forming base material (b) is set on a bottom force 11 for press pasting, which is arranged in a row. Next, by lowering the top force 5, the mold surface of the top force 5 is registered to that of the bottom force 1. At the same time, holding needles 8 are lowered towards recesses 9 so as to pierce through the ornamental fabric. By further lowering the top force 5, the bottom force 1 is pressed down against springs 3 and 3, resulting in cutting off the fabric with the cutting edges of cutters 4 in order to produce an ornamental member (a). In succession, by sucking through fine suction holes 10, molding opening is done under the condition that the member (a) is affixingly held onto the mold surface of the top force 5 and, after that, the top force 5 is faced to the bottom force 11. Next, by lowering the top force 5, the ornamental member (a) is positioningly pressed and pasted with the holding needles 8 to the required surface of the skin material on the surface of the forming base material (b) on the bottom force 11. |
