<p>PURPOSE:To read a device identification code without trouble even when a bit line is made redundant by electrically connecting a line, which stores the identification code, to a bus line and reading the identification code to an external part. CONSTITUTION:Circuits Q1D - QkD to store the identification code are electrically connected to bus lines Bu1 - Buk interposed between the common node of bit lines B1 - Bm and spare bit lines Bs1 - Bsj and a data sense circuit 4, and the identification code can be read out to the external part. Thus, even when the bit line is made redundant and the arbitrary spare bit lines Bs1 - Bsj are selected instead of the defective bit line with a fault part, the device identification code can be read without being affected by the selection at all.</p> |
