In a peripherally welded flexible plastic enclosure (10), Figure 1, intended to be divided into sealed compartments by externally applied clamping members 18 sealing to the edge of the welded seam (12) of the enclosure is allowed by forming the portion of the edge to be sealed with a beadless weld which has an inwardly extending pad (16).
