PURPOSE: To obtain high resistance against fat and a plasticizer by constituting a thermoreactive recording material of a substrate material coated with a dye forming component containing a specific polymer, a specific diphenol and a derivative thereof as a developer and an acidic developer. CONSTITUTION: A thermoreactive recording material is constituted of a substrate material coated with a mixture of polymers wherein acrylonitrile and/or methacrylonltrile are acidically modified as a developer, a colorless dye forming component containing a diphenol represented by formula (1) and its derivative of which the ring is alkylated or halogenated and an acidic developer. In the formula (1), Y is a single bond, a 1-7C alkylene or cycloalkylidene group, -O-, -S- or a group represented by the formula (2); R<1> /R<2> is alkyl, cycloalkyl, alkyl or aryl; and the alkyl group is methyl; halogen is chlorine; a cycloalkyl group is a cyclohexyl group; an aralkyl group is a benzyl group; and an aryl group is a phenyl group. |
