PURPOSE:To simplify a locking device and to facilitate the fitting of the device by using a locking means for a door which engages the means to be rocked at a main body side serving also as a means for operating a door switch. CONSTITUTION:A locking frame member 5 is molded as the locked means to be locked integrally at the right end of the inner cover 4 of an image forming device and a locking claw 7 is protruted on the right side of the rear side of the door 2. When the door 2 is closed, the tip claw part 7a of the locking claw 7 engages the locking state part 5a of an opening part 8 to lock the door 2. At this time, the operating element 11a of a door switch 11 is pressed by the tip of the claw part 7a to turn on the switch, so that the closure of the door is detected. When the door is opened, a lock releasing lever 9 is pressed to open the door 2. Consequently, one device is required as compared with two devices which are required before and its fitting is also facilitated. |
