A gold or silver-foil is adhered to a base sheet, thus forming the base material for a match box. The base material for inner part of a match box, and that for outer part are tailored together by conventional method. Then some amount of adhesive is applied to adhering part of the tailored structure. The both ends of the adhering part are treated uniformly by heat and pressure by means of fixed heating plate and mobile heating plate in which heaters are contained respectively. The uniformly applied heat ensures complete adhesion of adhesives to targeted area, which guarantees excellent fix of gold or silver foils as well as excellent moisture-proofness of a match box.
