<p>PURPOSE:To optionally record plural programs in a designated order by calculating the moving quantity of a tape-like recording medium at the time of starting recording and after each program is recorded during the period of reserved recording and performing sequential control of the reserved recording state corresponding to the calculation results. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a means 25 for calculating at least the moving quantity of the tape-like recording medium at the time of starting recording and after each program is recorded based on a reserved content on the tape-like recording medium including a recording order at the time of finishing the reserved recording. And the device is provided with a means 27 for selecting either a video signal inputted from an outer part or the video signal generated in an inner part, and the sequential control of the reserved recording state is performed based on the calculation results by the calculating means 25. Thus, the recording order on the recording medium can be optionally set as an operator likes, and the effective use of the recording medium and the user's operability of the device can be improved.</p> |
