PURPOSE:To eliminate an error in indication due to a backlash by holding the direction of the play of a gear constant by producing magnetic force in or around the gear. CONSTITUTION:A platy magnet is fitted to the sector 2 of a pressure gauge, a vacuum gauge, etc. and a cylindrical magnet is fitted to a pinion 3. Therefore, the sector 2 and pinion 3 are held in invariably specific directions by magnetic fields produced by the magnets, so a pointer 4 has not any error due to a backlash. |
