PURPOSE:To always maintain the firm adhesion with no reduction of the adhering force, by sticking the annular superhard alloy to the roll main body by means of the restoring force of an elastic material. CONSTITUTION:A supporting member containing an O-ring 91 and a backup ring 101 is abutted to the supporting part 14 at the trunk part 12 of a roll main body 1, and a superhard alloy adhering member having an O-ring 9 and a backup ring 10 is sheathed. Then a supporting nut 6 containing an elastic material 5 is screwed to the main body 1. The pressure is applied into a pressure room A to move the adhering member toward the compressing direction of the material 5. A side pressure plate 71 is fitted to a supporting part 13 of a roll trunk part 12, and an annular superhard alloy 2 is attached to mount a side pressure plate 7. Thereafter, a lock nut 8 is screwed to the main body 1. As a result, each member repeats the contraction and expansion by the rise and fall cycles of temperature. Thus the firm adhering is possible although a rolling mill has vibrations since the material 5 presses said superhard alloy 2. |
