PURPOSE: To efficiently print an image or a character on a plastic constitutional member or other selected substrate substance by using an ink compsn. containing a selected dye or pigment and an ultraviolet curable adhesive combined with at least one solvent. CONSTITUTION: A printed image or character depending on a compsn. of a specific adhesive and a final product and containing an ultraviolet curable adhesive rapidly cured by the irradiation with ultraviolet rays over about 0.5-10 min is exposed to ultraviolet rays to form a permanent image. Further, in order to form a uniform product having a dye or pigment within a wide range corresponding to the desired color of the printed image or character and the viscosity and surface tension suitable for an ink jet printing, a solvent bonding the dye or pigment and an adhesive is contained. Corresponding to the viscosity of the used adhesive, a diluent may be added to the compsn. |
