The invention relates to a machine for forming rope loops 2 using end portions 17 of the rope 1 curved into a loop and a clamping sleeve 3 which secures each rope end 18 on the rope 1. The machine includes a pressing device 4 for fastening clamping sleeves 3 and members 7, 9, 10, 11 for advancing clamping sleeves 3 to the pressing device 4. A clamping device 16 is arranged so as to secure and draw out an end portion 17 of a rope 1, which has been fed into the machine. Members 22, 26, 28 are arranged in order, after said drawing-out of the rope end portion 17 in the machine, to cause it to rotate a half turn, forming a loop. A first indication member 14 is arranged so as to cause the clamping device 16 to grip around and carry along with it the rope end portion 17. A second indication member 21 is arranged so as, after the clamping device 16 has guided the rope end 18 back into the clamping sleeve 3, to sense the correct position of the rope end 18 and initiate the clamping together of the clamping sleeve 3 around the rope portions by the pressing device 4. <IMAGE> |
