摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To obtain an image with stable density and to suppress a rise in the cost by detecting the quantity of light emission by a light receiving element arranged on the reverse surface of a dot array fluorescent tube and holding the quantity of light emission of the dot array fluorescent tube constant corresponding to the detection output. CONSTITUTION:A recording head 1 consisting of the dot array fluorescent tube 20, etc., is provided and an information signal corresponding to an image is converted by the dot array fluorescent tube 20 into light information, which is projected and image-formed on a photosensitive body 2 by an unmagnified image forming element 3 to write the light information. In this case, the light receiving element 30 such as a photodiode for detecting the quantity of light emission of the dot array fluorescent tube 20 is arranged opposite the reverse surface of the dot array fluorescent tube 20 across a head substrate 15 and the quantity of light emission of the dot array fluorescent tube 20 is held con stant corresponding to the detection output. Consequently, the stability of the image using the dot array fluorescent tube 20 as the recording head 1 is in creased and the rise in the cost is suppressed.</p>
