PURPOSE: To obtain an inexpensive charge neutralizing device by providing a grounded wire arranged near a transfer station for reducing an electric charge on a sheet. CONSTITUTION: A sheet fed to a pair of supplying rolls 35 and 37 is fed toward a photoconductive drum 17 through a supplying path 41 and moved through a transfer corona 43 connected to a photoelectric potential source and the transfer corona 43 radiates an ion on the rear surface of the sheet, to attract a toner image to the sheet from the surface of the photoconductive drum 17. Then, the wire 47 which is grounded and located near the sheet, beling the transfer station in the supplying direction of the sheet, without contacting is provided. After a transfer, the sheet passes through the grounded wire 47 on a plastic guide 45, thereon. Thus, an inexpensive charge neutralizing system can be obtained. |
