PURPOSE:To facilitate the transmission operation and to improve the convenience and operability by registering characteristic abbreviated codes and abbreviation information constituted of all data corresponding to the codes in respective pocket pagers, and sending an abbreviated code and displaying all the data on a reception-side terminal. CONSTITUTION:When a power switch is turned on, the abbreviated code on a correspondence table memory part 14 is read by a reception data decision part 15 and stored. When the reception data which is sent out of an address matching part 12 contains the abbreviated code, a decision part 15 searches the correspondence table memory part 14 for all the data corresponding to the code and sends them out to a control part 16 instead of the abbreviated code. When the reception data contains no abbreviated code, all the data are sent out as they are. The control part 16 displays all the data which are received on an information display part 18 and drives and controls informing means 19-21 according to an operation mode which is set by an operation part 17.
