PURPOSE:To provide a printing hammer driving that is capable of driving a printing hammer made of steel and low density material with one kind of actuator by making variable the distance between the positions at which a push rod strikes the rotating supporting shaft of the printing hammer. CONSTITUTION:Load and inertia force of a printing hammer 10 that are exerted on an actuator 1 during acceleration are changed by changing the position at which a printing hammer 10 strikes a push rod 6 and changing the ratio of distances to the push rod 6 and the position of striking by the printing hammer from a rotating supporting shaft 11. The lever ratio of the printing hammer 10 is changed so that the load and inertia force of the printing hammer 10 that are exerted on the actuator 1 becomes the same as a printing hammer 10S made of steel and a printing hammer 10T made of low density material. |
