PURPOSE:To simultaneously display the thermal action of a continuous wave laser light and the impulse property and the organization penetrability of a pulse wave laser light by generating singly the continuous wave laser light, and generating singly the pulse wave laser light, or synthesizing and generating the continuous wave laser light and the pulse wave laser light. CONSTITUTION:A laser light emitted from a YAG rod 22 by an excitation lamp 21 is resonated by a resonance mirror 23 and a resonance mirror 24, and amplified and emitted. Also, on an optical path between the YAG rod 22 and the resonance mirror 24, an acousto-optical element 25 is provided, and to its acousto-optical element 25, a piezoelectric element 26 is attached. When the piezoelectric element 26 is brought to operation-ON, no laser light is emitted, and energy is stored in the inside. Subsequently, when the piezoelectric element 26 is brought to operation-OFF, the laser light is resonated, and the stored energy is emitted at a stroke. The laser light emitted from the resonance mirror 24 is condensed by a condensing lens 31 and goes into a laser probe 7, and the onset tissue of a living body is irradiated with the laser light from its laser probe 7. |
