A method of lining a passage, which is entirely or partially surrounded by walls, by everting a hoseformed, curable laminate into the passage under utilization of a pressure medium acting inside the laminate against its end surface for feeding the same into the passage and radially outwards against the inside of the everted laminate for pressing the everted laminate to contact with the wall of the passage which entirely or partially surrounds the passage. In order to avoid an uncontrolled varying eversion velocity or force, each part of the laminate (50), which is in turn to be fed into the passage (51), is unloaded before the feeding is begun by a stepwise feeding of the laminate (50) to a pressurised position in direct connection to the entrance (52) of the passage. When the laminate (50) with its final end has reached up to the mentioned pressurised position, a braking force of such adapted strength is connected in so that the eversion pressure and by that the eversion velocity are maintained essentially unchanged until the laminate (50) is entirely everted. |
