PURPOSE:To perform accurate measurement by abutting the abutting part of a measuring part on both sides of a trolley wire, and abutting front the front end part of the abutting part on the top part of an aluminium holder, and setting a measurer itself in a certain attaching attitude stable for the trolley wire to perform measurement. CONSTITUTION:A measuring part 4 is applied from below to the position of a rigid body trolley wire 31 supported by an aluminium holder 7 to be measured, and both sides of the trolley wire 1 are clipped by abutting part 2, and front end part of the contact part 2 are applied to top part 8 of the holder 7, and front end parts of shoulder abutting parts 6 are abutted on the shoulder part 11 of the holder 7. A measuring part 4 has four parts, namely, front end part of the part 2 and the part 6 are abutted on the trolley wire 31 to fix the measurer itself at right angles to the trolley wire 1 in longitudinal and transverse directions. When the measuring part 4 is abutted on the wire 31 and a magnetic read detecting part 13 is pushed up in this state, a measuring rod 10 is pushed up to abut a pointed end part 17 on a wear surface of a trolley wire 1. An LCD display part 14 is read at this time to correctly measure the extent of wear of the trolley wire 1. |
