PURPOSE:To obtain a beautiful pattern by controlling a selector and performing the interpolation arithmetic of the curve part of outline font data on characters and symbols repeatedly, and making the curve part of the outline font data smooth and sending the data to a contour drawing device. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary data storage device 14 is stored with interpolation data outputted by the interpolation arithmetic unit 13. The selector 12 inputs the outputs of a font data storage device 11 and the interpolation data storage device 14 and outputs one of them to the interpolation arithmetic unit 14. Then the selector 12 is controlled to perform the interpolation arithmetic of the curve part of the outline font data on the characters and symbols, the curve part of the outline font data is made smooth, and the data is sent to the contour drawing device. Consequently, the beautiful pattern is obtained. |
