PURPOSE:To perform foam molding approximately simultaneously with press molding by a method wherein a heating plate is placed to a part of a molding tool, a latent foamable resin sheet is placed on the upper surface of the heating plate, and a carpet is located between the heating plate and a top mold. CONSTITUTION:A carpet 1 for an automobile has a given part to which a felt 22 and foamed layer are adhered. In this case, during molding of the carpet 1 for an automobile, a heating plate 31 is placed on the given part of a bottom mold 3 with which the back of the carpet 1 for an automobile makes contact. A latent foamable resin sheet, not shown, is placed on the upper surface of the heating plate 31. Consecutively, the heated carpet 1 for an automobile is located between a top mold, not shown, and the heating plate, is press-molded. The latent foamable resin sheet is foamed to form a foamed sheet 21. This method performs press molding approximately simultaneously with foam molding, improves productivity, and reduces a cost. |
