The safe (1) comprises two enclosures: an outer one (2) comprising two compartments (5 and 6) which contain the control relays of the sliding bolts and the electrical and/or electronic control device, and an inner one (3) comprising two compartments (7 and 8). Access to these compartments is gained by means of four sealing doors (9, 10, 11 and 12). Doors (9, 10 and 11) open on the first compartment (7) and door (12) opens on the secret compartment (8). The doors are locked by sliding bolts which engage in keepers. These bolts are opened, according to a predetermined sequence, by relay bulb-type contactors which are concealed inside or outside the safe (1) and are electrically or electronically controlled.
