<p>PURPOSE:To record a program as the recording sequence of reservation program by calculating the recording position of each reserved program from the head of a magnetic tape based on a required recording time, applying program search from the reserved program with early broadcast date and recording the program sequentially. CONSTITUTION:A control circuit 3 calculates a total hour for recording time of programs 1 - 3 in earlier order than a program number 8 with the fastest broadcast date among reserved programs, a tape residual quantity arithmetic circuit 4 calculates the residual quantity, feeds the tape quickly, applies program search and the video recording of the program 8 is executed. When the video recording of the program 8 is finished, the control circuit 3 rewinds the tape by the total of the recording time of the programs 2, 3, 8 to apply program search for the program 2 and to apply video recording of the programs 2, 3. After the program 1 is subject to program search, the video recording of the program 1 is applied and the program search of the taps is implemented finally to make the recording of the reserved program complete. Thus, each program is recorded on the magnetic tape in the reserved recording order.</p> |
