A vaccine composition useful for the treatment of gastrointestinal round worm in mammals. The vaccine composition has as the antigenic component an approximately 31 kD proteinaceous fraction of an extract of Ostertagia circumcincta, preferably from the third larval stage. The administration to and effect of this vaccine for sheep is described. |
