The piston slide valve for a pressure medium especially for the regulation of a pre-control medium in which the valve housing bush and the piston slide are made from an industrial ceramic with a low coefficient of thermal expansion. The piston slide (3) in the piston slide recess of the valve housing bush (2) is inserted with sufficient play to provide a sealing gap without the need for a sealing ring. USE/ADVANTAGE - Slide valve for use in water hydraulic systems which avoids corrosion and sticking phenomena.
