Electrical bus system interface circuits - uses opto-electronic circuits powered externally to provide interface between bus and system circuits

Two circuits (1,2) are connected to a common signalling bus (3) and power supply wires (12,13). In particular, the signalling bus (3) comprises electrical conductors, and communication between bus (3) and circuits (1,2) is through intermediate upto electronic circuits (4,5). Preferably, the circuit (1) has an output stage (7) connected to input stage (10,8) of circuit (5), and an input stage (6) conencted to the output stage (11,9) of circuit (4). The opto coupler circuits include a light emitting diode transmitter (8) and a light sensitive transistor receiver (9). USE/ADVANTAGE - Electrical control/measurement system esp. in vehicles common sytem and electrical noise immunity.
