PURPOSE: To prevent wear, etc., of a bearing by providing a pressure detecting device, a feed system for control pressurized fluid medium, a pressure regulating device which produces a pressurized medium. CONSTITUTION: A housing 12 is attached to a rotating tubular nipple 22, and the nipple 22 is connected so as to rotate together with a pressurized medium introduced into a rotary joint 10 through an inlet port 14. Then an expansible chamber motor 38 capable of moving the housing 12 axially is provided. A transmitter 80 is provided with a pressure regulating device 84 which detects the pressure for generating a control signal proportional to the pressure of a heat-exchanger medium in a header 78 and which produces a pressurized medium for the expansible chamber motor 38, which has the pressure determined by the control signal. As a result, wear of a bearing is prevented and the degree of compensation can be easily and precisely altered.
