PURPOSE: To break an appropriate electric connection in an unloaded condition, by providing an operation-stop switch part energized by a apring for actuating an operating switch retained on a module only at the time of an operation-stop position. CONSTITUTION: An electronic module latch assembly 2 is equipped with a latch handle assembly 4 fitted to an electronic module 6, and a keeper 8 fitted to a housing 10. The assembly 4 is equipped with an operation-stop switch pin 72 fitted into a guide hole 74 formed on a first leg part 20. The inner end 94 of the pin 72 is positioned opposite to an operating switch 96 to engage the pin 72 with the switch 96 when a lever 42 is at a position where a lever 42 is latched. A spring 76 rotates the lever 42 so that the inner end 94 of the pin 72 can part from the switch 96 when a catch button 50 is rotated to an unengaged position, and the release of the switch 96 electrically separates the module 6 from the housing 10, thereby engaging and releasing the engagement of connectors 12 and 14 in an unloading condition.
