PURPOSE:To improve the temp. stability and sinterability of three-component ferroelectric ceramics and to control unevenness in characteristics among products by adding small amts. of Bi and Zn to the Zn- and Nb-added lead titanate zirconate type ferroelectric ceramics. CONSTITUTION:Small amts. of Bi and Zn are added to ferroelectric ceramics having a basic compsn. consisting of 43.5mol% PbTiO3, 44mol% PbZrO3 and 12.5mol% oxide represented by the formula to produce ferroelectric ceramics having superior temp. stability and stable quality. The relative dielectric constant, electromechanical coupling factor and piezoelectric constant can be enhanced by further adding Sb or Ta. By further adding Mn, the coefft. of mechanical quality can be enhanced and the dielectric loss can be reduced. |
