PURPOSE:To obtain an orally administrative antitussive expectant increasing the bioavailabilily of a preparation of trimetoquinol hydrochloride (antitussive expectorant) by blending the preparation with an, aniline-based, salicylic acid- based and/or propionic acid-based antipyretic analgesic. CONSTITUTION:(A) One or more of an aniline-baesd antipyretic analgesic such as acetaminophen, phenacetin or bucetin, a salicylic acid-based antipyretic analgesic such as aspirin, salicylamide or ethenzamide and a propionic acid-based antipyretic analgesic such as ibuprofen or ketoprofen is blended with (B) trimetoquinol hydrochloride effective for improving symptoms based on respiratory obstruction disorder such as bronchial asthma by acting on adrenergic beta-receptor in the ratio of generally 0.5-1,200 pst.wt. component A based on 1 pt.wt. component B to give an arally administrative preparation having an improved digestive tube permeability and a stability in digestive tube of the drug B and excellent bioavailability. |
