The reflector is pivotable from a fixed position by means of an outward projecting adjustment screw (7) through a hole (4) in the wall (6) of the lamp housing (1). A nut (9) on the reflector moves along a thread (8) as the screw head (16) is rotated. The screw (7) is held to the wall (6) by a thermoplastic sleeve (19) around a plastic encapsulated section (14). An inner ring (21) of slippery elastic material bears upon an annular shoulder (17) at the end of the thread (8). ADVANTAGE - Few components are required and installation of adjustment screw is simplified greatly.
