PURPOSE:To prevent any damage by both termites and rats by covering the jacket of a cable with a zinc flame coating film in specific thickness by flame coating at a room temperature, and winding a plastic tape including rat repellent or poison in a microcapsule form around the film. CONSTITUTION:The jacket (c) of a cable A is covered with a zinc flame coating film 1 in thickness of about 50-75mu by flame coating at a room temperature. The film 1 is covered with a plastic tape 2 including rat poison, for example, cyclohexamide in a microcapsule form. If necessary, the plastic tape 2 is covered with a protective coat such as resin, rubber, cloth and paper. A tape for preventing ants may be previously manufactured by covering the surface of a textile tape with a zinc flame coating film in thickness of about 50-75mu while coating the back thereof with a pressure sensitive adhesive. |
