The appts. enables a patient to apply oil or lotion or a healing medium to his own back without the need for help from any other person. The oil, lotion or healing medium is applied using strips of material which are impregnated with the medium. The material is kind to the skin and is supplied, already treated with the medium, in protective packing so that any risk of infection is eliminated. Self-application by the user eliminates the risk of infection from the hands of a second person applying the medium. USE - Self-application of skin lotion on inaccessible part of patient's own back.
