An artificial eye crystalline comprises a UV-rays absorbing lens made of a polymer composition having the following transmission spectrum at different wavelengths within the visible part of the spectrum: at 400 nm - 10 to 27 % of transmission, at 420 nm - 21 to 37 %, at 440 nm - 37 to 55 %, at 460 nm - 52 to 63 %, at 480 nm - 70 to 78 %, at 500 nm - 85 to 90 %, and at 520 to 650 nm - 90 to 95 % of transmission, and containing the following components in per cent by weight: UV-rays absorbing material (4-alkoxy-hydroxybenzophenone or tetraoxybenzophenone) 1.65 - 3.0, oil-soluble colour 4-(2,4-dimethylphenylazo)-5-methyl-2-phenyl-1,2,3-triasol 0.011-0.016, dibutylphthalate 4.8-5.0, polymethylphthalate the balance. |
