PURPOSE:To efficiently diffuse and open fibrous materials without releasing the charge of fibers charged by corona discharge, etc., by colliding the fibrous materials with a collision plate made of a specific hardness material having a high charge applied thereto. CONSTITUTION:Fibrous materials (e.g. polyester fibers) are collided with a collision plate made of a metal having a Vickers hardness of <=50 and having a negative charge of 10-20kV applied thereto to open the fibrous materials. The opened fibrous materials provided non-woven fabric having excellent uniformity and good quality. |
