PURPOSE:To remove a protective paper from a glass sheet, by forming an undulation to the paper by leaf springs to creat a gap between the paper and the glass sheet when the paper interporsed previously between the glass sheets is sucked. CONSTITUTION:Each protective paper 4 is interposed between glass sheets 1, and it is required to remove the paper when the glass sheets 1 are taken out one by one. Therefore, compression springs 16 are interposed between a suction head 11 and a suction pad 17 to be moved vertically. Soft and resilient members 15 are provided to a lower plate 13 through the leaf springs 14, so that when the protective paper is sucked, an undulation 19 is created by the members 15 to form a gap between the glass sheet 1 and the protective paper, and therefore they are easily separated. |
