PURPOSE:To prevent the flaws and stains and to restore a disk with which reproducing is infeasible as well as to prevent the generation of a defective reproducing disk by dissolving or dispersing and emulsifying organopolysiloxane at a specific concn. ratio in a specific soln. CONSTITUTION:This protective agent is prepd. by using the organopolysiloxane as its essential component. The organopolysiloxane is dissolved or dispersed and emulsified at 0.5 to 20wt.% concn. ratio into any of a solvent (consisting of single or combined solvents), an aq. soln. contg. a surfactant, an aq. soln. contg. the surfactant and the solvent, or a liquid emulsified in water or a liquid prepd. by dispersing fine particles for polishing in the respective solns. This organopolysiloxane forms a uniform film by remaining on the disks surface and imparts a good slip to the disk surface to prevent the flawing thereof. And it intrudes finely into the flawing to impart optical homogeneity and resistance to flawing to the surface. The easy removal of the stains with a fabric or non-woven fabric is possible. The disk with which the reproducing is infeasible is restored in this way and the generation of the defective reproducing disk is prevented. |
