摘要 An apparatus for measuring physical properties of a sample that changes upon irradiation with light or for measuring the heat of reaction of the sample whose reaction is induced upon irradiation with light. The apparatus comprises a light generating mechanism for projecting light onto the sample and means for measuring physical properties of the sample that changes upon irradiation with light. An optical fiber is provided in an optical path between the light generating mechanism and said sample to facilitate the operation for exchanging the samples and to satisfy the uniformity as well as the reproducibility of the flux of light on the surface irradiated with light. When a comparison material is provided in addition to the sample, furthermore, an optical fiber is provided between the light generating mechanism and the sample and between the light generating mechanism and the comparison material, respectively, to divide the light into an optical axis for sample irradiation and an optical axis for comparison material irradiation. Being constituted as described above, the light can be irradiated efficiently.
