PURPOSE:To allow low-energy fixing by fixing fine particles of a resin having the average grain size of a specific value and specific temp. or below of Tg onto the surface of toner particles contg. >=1 kinds wax or the like selected from hardened castor oil, carnauba wax, etc. CONSTITUTION:The fine particles of the resin having 0.05 to 0.5mum average particle size and <=120 deg.C Tg are fixed onto the surface of the toner particles contg. at least one kind of the wax or the like selected from the hardened castor oil, carnauba wax and the modified matter thereof. Namely, the hardened castor oil, etc., compounded with the toner are crystalline materials and have, therefore, for example, 55 to 100 deg.C m.p. and cause the sharp drop of the melting viscosity and nearly complete melting at a relatively low fixing temp. on a hot roll, thereby effectively functioning the improvement in the fixing strength onto transfer paper. Since the fine particles of the resin are fixed onto the surface of the toner particles, the flowability of the toner is improved and the good preservable property is obtd. |
