<p>A bulk hopper (1) for agricultural products, in particular suitable for seed potatoes, comprising an endless conveyor (5) passed around return members, said conveyor (5) including spaced cross elements (11, 30, 31) and forming a stepped product raising path (10) defined by side walls on opposite sides (4, 4 min ). A cloth (12, 33) forming the transporting surface of the conveyor is arranged on the cross elements (11, 30, 31), which cloth sags (14) somewhat between the cross elements (11, 30, 31) and covers (16, 17, 20, 39) the tops of the cross elements (11, 30, 31). The cloth (12, 33) forms a transporting surface which covers (16, 17, 20, 39) the cross elements (11, 30, 31) and considerably reduces the chance of damage to products transported over said transporting surface (5).</p> |
