To enable the alignment process to be effected, it is ensured firstly that the fixture screws are only incompletely screwed in, and a counterpiece, permanent or removable, is then fixed on or in the base, or on a part rigidly connected to it. The counter piece comprises at least one adjustment screw which is loosely screwed into a hole in the counterpiece or a plate working in conjunction with it, and centrally to one of the foot plates. By further screwing, the adjustment screw locates against the foot plates, moving the latter in a right-angled direction to the machine rotation axis. |
