PURPOSE:To eliminate shock sounds at the start of drive in a rotary solenoid by a method wherein a means of supplying a driving current to an excitation coil of the solenoid and also an auxiliary means of a connection of a resistor, a transistor and a delay circuit in series are provided so that a base current is supplied to the transistor during the rest state of the solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A rotary solenoid 1 is composed of an armature 2, balls 3, a pair of ball laces 4 and an excitation coil 5. The powder of 24V DC is supplied to one end of the coil 5, and an ''ON'' terminal L is connected to the other end via a transistor 6, and yet a current flowing through the coil 5 is branched into a ''HOLD'' terminal M via a resistor 7 and a transistor 8. Further, this current is branched to an ''OFF'' terminal via a resistor 9, a transistor 10 and a delay circuit 11. With this construction, a current is flowed through the base of transistor 10 during the rest state of solenoid 1 to pull the armature 2 at a weak pulling force so that shock sounds at the start of drive are eliminated. |
