<p>PURPOSE:To make possible to prepare sweet potato containing a large amount of water by peeling skin of sweet potato, steaming, drying to damp-dry state, extending with roller and cutting. CONSTITUTION:Skin of sweet potato is peeled off and resultant sweet potato is arranged on drain-board, etc., then steamed by applying steam, thus subjected to hot air drying or sunshine drying. Dried sweet potato is pressed to a fixed thickness and extended with roller. Resultant thin plate-like sweet potato (preferably 5-15mm thickness) is cut at a fixed interval to afford the aimed thinly cut and dried sweet potato.</p> |
