PURPOSE:To form a transfer material for cleaning immediately before the cleaning and to carry out the cleaning without previously storing the transfer material for cleaning by outputting an image for cleaning a pressure roller when a prescribed number of printing is carried out on a transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The number of the printed transfer material is stored in a printing number storing means 24: When the prescribed number of printing is carried out, it is decided that the cleaning is required, and the image for cleaning which is previously stored in an image data storing means 23 is outputted by an image outputting means 6. Consequently, the transfer material for cleaning is formed and the pressure roller is periodically cleaned by the solid part of the transfer material. Therefore, it is not required to store the transfer material possessing a solid image. |
