A drawer has metal frames (1) as side boundary, which are provided at the top with guide rails (2) and exhibit below an angled supporting flange (9) for a base plate (3), whereby retaining tabs (10) bent up out of the supporting flange engage from the bottom into insert openings (12) in the base plate and a rear wall (8) fitted between the frames (1) is provided for the drawer. In order to achieve secure, simple and if necessary automatable assembly of the base plate (3), the retaining tabs (10) are designed as pegs which can be bent up transversely to the lengthwise direction of the flange, which secure the base plate against lengthwise and crosswise movements by engaging into the openings (10, 12). A hook-shaped pressure pad (11) formed from a tab of the flange engages from the front into a retaining recess (14, 15) in the front (13) of the base plate and the back wall (4) of the drawer serves as pressure pad for the rear end of the base plate (3) which extends beneath it. …<IMAGE>… |
