PURPOSE:To achieve a recording of a high quality while improving the productivity in the wire technology with possible reduction in the wire of both electrodes by arranging resistors in plurality in which common electrodes are arranged at both ends thereof and segment electrodes at the center thereof. CONSTITUTION:Four common electrodes C1-4 are provided in common to resistors R1-5. Segment electrodes S1-20 are provided in the element center between these electrodes C1-4 and the lower ends of the resistors R1-5 to form a thermal head. According to this example, required number of electrodes can be reduced 24 in total as shown by 4 for common electrodes C1-4 and 20 for segment electrodes S1-20. This also can lessen the number of lead wire led from all the electrodes remarkably to 24 from 42. With corresponding curtailment of the wires, the space for the wire can be reduced along wth lesser space between the resistors, ultimately increasing the area of the resistance. This enables a recording clear with a high quality. |
