PURPOSE:To dry and harden a molded mold quickly by packing molding sand into mated patterns provided with vent holes, and removing the top part, covering the mold with a covering member then introducing compressed air for heating. CONSTITUTION:After org. molding sand contg. a water-soluble binder is packed in the cavities of mated patterns consisting of a top part and a bottom part 17 provided with plural vent holes, the top part is removed, and is placed on the top surface of an air releasing table 6, thence a cover member 22 is put on in such a way as to cover a mold 21 and the part 17. Thence, the compressed air for heating in a tank 7 is supplied into the member 22, is passed through the inside of the mold 21 from the entire surface of the opened mold 21, and is discharged through the recess 18 of the part 17, a through-port 4, and from the air releasing hole 5 of the table 6. Thereby, the moisture in the mold 21 is evaporated quickly, and the mold 21 on the top surface of the part 17 is dried and hardened in a short time. |
